The charter of the Sergeants Major Association

The Fort Bragg Chapter of the Sergeants Major Association was founded on 4 January 1999, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina (now Fort Liberty). On this pivitol day in our history, our organization joined the dozens of chapters across our Nation that serve to provide a permanent forum to continue to serve. This lifelong commitment to service ensures that vital link between our past, our present, and the future.

One of the most important missions of the Sergeants Major Association (SGMA) is the promotion of camaraderie between our active and retired Sergeants Major; fortifying a heritage of understanding that develops a right of passage for future retirees.

The SGMA is a recognized 501(c)(3) organization and abides by all applicable laws and policy included therein.
